First of all, you cannot reconfigure the controls to use the arrow keys to move instead of the W,A,S,D setup, because your items are locked to the arrow keys. This indicates to me that it is a hasty 'port' from the Wii version. There are other indicators of this such as the user interface being clunky and the fact that it is somewhat of a process just to turn the game off. The game is also locked on wide screen with no options to adjust the display setting that I could find, so if you have a square monitor, you get the large black boarders on the top and bottom of the screen.Also, AVG detects a virus on the executable file. I do not think there actually is a virus, it is more than likely a false positive, but it is kind of annoying and difficult to circumvent.I also do not anticipate that there will be any updates to this game which might address these problems.Other than that, this is a good game for kids and it is easier to control in game than the Wii version and has noticeably better graphics . It also seems to include some fire safety lessons, which is good. There is never an issue with carrying the hose all the place without hanging up on something or getting twisted around and all the fires seems 'fully involved'. There's no 'extrication' calls; at least not that I've come across, yet.
