Our ATV and Snowmobile Trail Maps for Garmin GPS work best when you overlay them over non-routing topographical background maps. All our maps, on pre-loaded micro-sd or as a internet download already contain a topographic background map for the area the trails cover. On many GPS models. this allows you to view a combined trail and topo map in a single map window when your GPS is connected to a computer running Garmin Basecamp. The topographical maps contain many geographical details that are not included on the trail maps alone. The free topographical maps that we offer below work well in the capacity of base maps to be used with the trail maps.
Because they are maps non-routing, you can enable them with our routing trail maps and not run the risk of being routed on roads or highways. The downloadable map installers run on Windows PC’s (not Mac’s). Once the map installer has been run, the maps are made available to all Garmin Map Management programs, MapInstall, BaseCamp and MapSource. You can then use these programs to combine the topo maps with our trail maps and download them to your GPS. (Mapinstall and Basecamp may be unable to download these or any 3rd party map from a computer to a GPS. The older Garmin MapSource will be able to combine and download them from a PC)

We use this map for our default background map for all US based trail maps. This non-routing topographical map is included on our micro-sd card and .ZIP file download format. This maps covers several states in the north east US and so can is a very large download. Unzip and run the installer to make the map available to Garmin programs on your windows PC. Fish & Game Network Topos (NH, ME, MA, New England)
The Game & Fish Network Topos can be downloaded separately by state (except VT). The downloads are therefore quite a bit smaller than the North East Regional Topo. Unzip and run the installer to make the map available to Garmin programs on your windows PC. Use Garmin BaseCamp/MapInstall or MapSource programs to download map segments to your GPS.
There are two defects that we know about with the Game & Fish Network Topo maps. The New England map is missing detail on lakes and streams in the second from the top map segments of New Hampshire. That is in the Errol area. The New Hampshire state map does properly display these lakes and streams. The NH topo map is missing elevations for the very northern most map tile.Download asio driver for reaper.
